On this page, you’ll find case studies, FAQs, and blog articles covering the development and production of custom sets made from LEGO® bricks.
The information provided here is intended as general guidance only and is supplied without any guarantee of completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to make a general statement.
The price depends primarily on the following factors:
Most of our projects range from about 15 to 45 euros per set.
Together, we’ll find the right solution to match your budget and requirements.
Every project is unique. The actual delivery time depends, among other things, on the complexity of the model, the quantity ordered, and the availability of individual parts.
As a general guideline, once the prototype has been approved, you can expect a production time of about 8 weeks.
No. There is no minimum order quantity.
However, certain costs are incurred regardless of the quantity ordered. These include, for example, model development, the creation of building instructions, and packaging design. For this reason, larger quantities are generally more cost-effective, as these one-time costs per set become negligible.
The more information you provide about your project, the more accurate our quotation will be.
It is particularly important to provide an estimated quantity of units you need, as well as information about the model’s intended use. For example:
Photos, technical documentation, or details about specific requirements and features that should be incorporated into the model are also very helpful.
Please also let us know if you already have a planned delivery date. This helps us evaluate feasibility and delivery schedules right from the beginning.
No. We recommend not referring to them as “LEGO sets. ” Instead, we recommend using terms such as “set of building bricks, ” “raabrick set,” or “custom models made from LEGO bricks.”
This clearly distinguishes the product from official LEGO® sets.
Yes. We are committed to using only new and original LEGO bricks.
If certain parts are unavailable or if special requirements make it necessary, we will, of course, consult with you in advance regarding the possible use of compatible bricks.
Yes, absolutely.
As a general rule, we prefer to work with original LEGO® bricks. However, upon request, high-quality alternative building bricks can also be used, with most of these products currently being manufactured in China.
In terms of quality, these alternatives are now very high-grade and are generally comparable to original bricks. Depending on the manufacturer, the clutch power can even be slightly higher. Another major advantage is the significantly wider range of available colours for individual brick types.
When selecting alternative suppliers, we make sure that existing design rights and other intellectual property rights are respected. For this reason, not every required brick shape is necessarily available from alternative manufacturers. Depending on the model, this can place some limitations on the design and implementation options.
Which solution is best suited to your project therefore depends on the specific model, the desired colour scheme, the required quantity and other individual requirements. The desired delivery time also plays an important role, as shipments from the Far East generally require more time.
We are happy to advise you individually and assess which option is best suited to your project.
To customise our sets, we offer both high-quality stickers and UV printing.
Because we handle UV printing in-house, we can offer this finishing option with exceptional flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
We’d be happy to help you decide which option is best suited to your project.
The UV prints on the building blocks are very durable and create a premium-quality appearance. The printing is applied directly to the blocks, so no additional stickers are visible.
Absolutely. Digital building instructions save on printing costs, reduce material usage, and are a sustainable alternative to the printed instructions.
By scanning a QR code on the packaging, customers can easily access and download the instructions, for example.
This is often a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution, especially for larger print runs.
Of course. The building instructions—especially the cover—can be designed entirely in line with your corporate design. Ideally, the design should be consistent with the packaging of the model made from LEGO® bricks to create a cohesive overall look.
For the building instructions themselves, we generally base the layout, design, and structure after the well-known LEGO building instructions, as they provide a particularly simple and enjoyable building experience.
However, if necessary, the individual building steps can also be customized entirely to suit your specific needs.
Typically, the packaging includes the company logo, product name, images of the model, and contact information. In addition, we recommend including the most important legal notices and product information during the design process. These may include:
If desired, the raabrick logo can also be included on the packaging with the wording “Manufactured by raabrick.“
